This dock as been specifically designed for non-permanent mounting.
Step 1: Select a mounting method. We recommend 3M Command Strips because they are very easy to remove. Any automotive mounting velcro or mounting tape will work, but be sure it is not a permanent product.
Step 2: Make sure your vehicle dash is clean, any oil or dirt may cause the mounting tape to fall off.
Step 3: Place the adhesive on the back of the dock. If you are using a Command Strip, let the tab overhang in the little cutout(figure 1). This will facilitate easy removal, and the tab is hidden from sight.
Step 4: Place dock firmly onto dash and let adhesive bond. A recommended height is to place the top of the dock at the same height as the split in plastic panels (figure 2).
Your dock is now mounted, if you wish to go the "hidden wires"route, please refer to the wiring guide.
