J2i

J2 industries is a multi-award-winning independent AI film studio founded by AI filmmaker James Mitchell, pushing the limits of AI-assisted filmmaking in the three places that matter: action, character acting and story.

The original series, Hyakki Yagyo, The Last Vanguard and Guardians of Earth, are J2i's core focus. The fan made adaptations exist only as experiments: a way to find out what the AI models can and can't handle. Everything learned in those tests goes straight back into making the originals better. James imagines and creates every script and every shot — the performances, the choreography, the beats. The AI just renders it.

Hyakki Yagyō | Tower of 100 Demons has won four awards: Best Action Film at the Neu Wave AI Film Festival, Best AI Director of the Future and Best AI Fantasy at the World AI Cinema Festival in Cannes, and the Pippit Elite Storytelling Award. It was also an official selection at the AI Movie Awards in London, the LifeArt AI Global Film Festival and the AI ZONE International AI Film Festival.
